What makes it great

  • Alder bark is bitter and supports liver functions, such as the break down of wastes, and formation of bile to assist with fat digestion. Alder bark tincture can be a godsend after you eat a fatty meal and feel like there is a bowling ball in your stomach. You can mix it with other bitter and aromatic plants like orange peel, chamomile and gentian as an apertif. It is also delicious alone.
  • In traditional Chinese and Native American medicine, dandelion root has long been used to treat stomach and liver conditions. Herbalists today believe that it can aid in the treatment of many ailments, including acne, eczema, high cholesterol, heartburn, gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, and even cancer.
  • Peppermint is a popular traditional remedy for a number of conditions. It is believed to have calming effects. It is used to treat flatulence, menstrual pains, diarrhea, nausea, depression-related anxiety, muscle and nerve pain, the common cold, indigestion, and IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome).
